Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Appointmentslit collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Appointmentslit is a service booking platform that connects customers with service providers. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to Appointmentslit and its operating entity.
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Information — Your full name, email address, phone number, gender, country code, and profile photo when you register.
Location Data — Address information you provide for appointments or service discovery. We do not continuously track your device's GPS location in the background.
Device Information — Device push notification tokens to deliver real-time updates about your appointments and account activity.
Usage Data — Log data such as pages visited, features used, and time spent in the app — used to improve the platform experience.
Booking History — Appointment records including service booked, provider, date, time, number of persons, amount paid, and appointment status.
Payment Information — Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. Appointmentslit only stores the payment intent ID and amount paid per appointment — your card details are never stored on our servers.
Saved Addresses — Addresses you save in the app for convenient booking. These are stored securely and used only to pre-fill booking forms.
Reviews — Reviews you leave for service providers are stored and displayed publicly on their profile.
Business Information — Business name, tagline, address, phone number, industry, and service listings you create. This information is visible to customers on the platform.
Stripe Financial Data — When you complete Stripe onboarding, Stripe collects and stores your banking and identity verification details directly. Appointmentslit only stores your Stripe Account ID and onboarding status — we never see or store your full bank details. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Documents — Business documents you upload for verification are stored securely and reviewed only by authorized Appointmentslit administrators.
Earnings & Transaction Data — Transaction records are stored to support dispute resolution, reporting, and compliance. Detailed financial data lives within your Stripe dashboard.

Resolve disputes and provide customer support
Meet legal and regulatory obligations
With your permission, we send push notifications to keep you informed about your appointments and account activity. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings without affecting your ability to use the app.
Appointmentslit integrates with the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
Stripe — Payment processing and connected account management for providers.
Expo Notifications — Used to deliver push notifications to your device.
Cloudinary — Used to store and deliver profile images and uploaded documents.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only in these circumstances:
With service providers who process data on our behalf (Stripe, Cloudinary, Expo)
Between customers and providers — to the extent needed to fulfil a booking
With law enforcement or regulators when legally required
In connection with a merger or acquisition (you will be notified)
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, secure token authentication (JWT), and HTTPS communication. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, your personal profile is deactivated and we begin removing your identifiable data, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records for tax purposes).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Object to certain types of data processing
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Appointmentslit is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will terminate it and delete any associated data promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or in-app message. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
